You thought Smithing was just forging? It's not! There is also a part called Smelting. Smelting involves the conversion of RS gold ores into bars. It's extremely profitable. For smelting steel bars, you will require 2 iron ore and two coal ores. Iron equals 100 coins, and coal = 178 coins. To create a bar, you would need to mine 2 coal and 1 iron. If you sold the mined ores, you'd receive around 456 coins. They would have been 163 more coins if they were melted, as the weight of a steel bar is 619 coins.

A personal favorite! My personal favorite is Crafting. The most efficient way to do this is to kill cows in Lumbridge and taking the cowhides to the tanner in Al- Kharid, and then turning the cowhides into leather if you are at a low level in crafting or into hard leather if you have an upper crafting level (28+). You will get 28 cowhides and turn into either leather (28 coin spent) or OSRS buy gold hard-leather (84 coin spent). Next, take an emery thread and needle to begin crafting. You can create the most beautiful leather crafts for no cost (f2p) by creating a studded leather-body.
